About me
I am a Registered Psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO). I work with the adult population with a special focus on bicultural couples, immigrants, and queer folks.
I finished my Masters in Counselling and Spirituality at Saint Paul University in 2021. At the university’s counselling centre, I helped individuals, couples, and families from the Ottawa community. During my studies, I was keen to understand the largely disregarded topic of humour in psychotherapy as it pertains to couple dynamics. You can expect me to laugh with you or get serious about your jokes!
Since finishing my masters, I have focused my professional development in two modalities which I am continuing to train in: Somatic Experiencing, and Self-in-Relationship psychotherapy.
I am fully fluent in English and Turkish.
